The look and feel of the hotels and surrounding neighborhood change again. Now you are entering the old and new hotel and condo towers of Mid Beach. As you move north through Mid Beach there is a split in the neighborhood. Along the eastern Atlantic side are the mega-hotels on a one to two block strip of land. Indian Creek waterway divides the island from the hotels side and a mostly residential neighborhood to the west.
