Justification leads to sanctification; another grace of God by which souls of men are progressively and completely cleansed. This is the second accomplishment of the grace which through faith in the blood of Jesus Christ is wrought after men have been justified and free from their sins or regenerated. This is primarily an outward sign, an example of a true repentance of a sinner from his or her sins. Also, anybody who is baptized is joined with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection; therefore anybody baptized is dead to the world and the evils thereof.

All born—again souls should ask for the Holy Spirit from above, as the Apostles were ordered to wait in Jerusalem until they were filled from above. It is the promise of the Father. Any Christian who receives the baptism of the Holy Spirit must speak in tongues. The RCCG believes that a Christian without condemnation of heart has a right to thank God and be in adoration and in prayer unto the Lord always.

Such a soul thirsts for God and the Holy Spirit helps his infirmities in prayer. The apostles put prayer first in their life and they spent much time in prayer — Acts ; Rom. It also believes in divine healing through prayer. Healing could be obtained in four ways viz: by individual prayer; by two people or a group of people who have agreed to pray by faith; by the laying of hands on the head and; by the ministry of the elders, anointing the sick with prayer of faith.

The church does not receive money or charge money before it offers prayer for anybody. The RCCG believes in due reverence to parent and authority. All Christians are to obey the law of the country, obey the government and authority.

They should honor their parents and elders. Rebellion against church ministers is against the will of God. The Bible teaches obedience to Spiritual leaders and submission to them. The church forbids any of its members from willfully entering into any debt which they find difficult to repay. Such debt may also include monetary debt, debt of promise or vow, debt of time, debt of not preaching the Gospel. The television audience of the wedding ceremony of Prince William and Catherine Middleton was estimated to number two billion people!

I was not among that number, but I encourage you to read the following from the transcript of the ceremony, as these authoritative words bring hope. The Very Reverend Dr.

John Hall, Dean of Westminster Abbey: Dearly beloved, we are gathered here in the sight of God and in the face of this congregation to join together this man and this woman in holy matrimony, which is an honorable estate instituted of God himself signifying unto us the mystical union that is betwixt Christ and his Church, which holy estate Christ adorned and beautified with his presence and first miracle as he wrought in Cana of Galilee and is commended in holy writ to be honorable among all men, and therefore is not by any to be enterprised nor taken in hand unadvisedly, lightly or wantonly, but reverently, discreetly, soberly and in the fear of God duly considering the causes for which matrimony was ordained.

First, it was ordained for the increase of mankind, according to the will of God and that children might be brought up in the fear and nurture of the Lord and to the praise of his holy name.
